The scene has become a familiar one throughout the years. No parade is complete without the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales pulling a red, white, and gold beer wagon down a main street that comes to life with the cheers and applause of onlookers.
This Labor Day weekend, these gentle giants will be participating in not one, but two local parades. The holiday weekend begins with the Budweiser Clydesdales appearing in the Hog Days parade on Saturday, September 4, at 2:00 p.m. in downtown Kewanee, IL. And why should the fun stop there? The Galesburg Labor Day parade will also feature the majestic Budweiser Clydesdales as they parade down Galesburg’s Main Street at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 6.
The Clydesdales will also be on display in downtown Canton, IL on Thursday, September 9, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and will also participate in the 50th anniversary celebration of the National Stearman Fly-In.
