Foundation seeks to bolster Fly-In, preserve Stearman history

The National Stearman Foundation is the parent organization of the National Stearman Fly-In which is held every September in Galesburg, Illinois.

The Foundation’s purposes are:

To provide a permanent source of funding for the National Stearman Fly-In in Galesburg, Illinois.

To promote the desire to fly, own and preserve Stearman aircraft.

To provide a permanent facility for the education and awareness of Stearman owners, pilots, restorers and mechanics.

To provide a repository for information, artifacts and research materials relating to safety, restoration, maintenance, history and flying of Stearman aircraft.

To provide a permanent display of Stearman aircraft and related artifacts, available to the general public.

To provide a destination for Stearman enthusiasts.
