National Stearman Fly-In – Day 6

If Don Buck, Webb City, MO, ever needs a reminder of what years he’s attended the National Stearman Fly-In at Galesburg, IL, Municipal Airport, all he has to do is look at the inside of his airplane’s baggage compartment cover. That’s where he keeps his collection –- more than three decades’ worth –- of stickers that pilots receive each year. For two years when the stickers weren’t printed, in 1982 and 1986, Buck filled in the year with a marker.
