Thirty-two Stearman pilots have already pre-registered to attend the 46th National Stearman Fly-In.
The Fly-In will be held Sept. 4-9 at Galesburg Municipal Airport.
Online registration opened in April, and the number of pre-registrations is slightly ahead of last year at this point, a Fly-In official said.
Pilots who plan to attend can speed the arrival process by pre-registering using a convenient on-line form. To complete the form, click here. Pilots who pre-register will receive an email confirmation.
The form asks pilots for permission to list their name, city and email address on a map of 2017 registrants. The map provides a convenient way to know who is planning to attend this year’s event and to find friends to fly with to Galesburg.
Pilots who choose not to pre-register may complete a registration form at the National Stearman Fly-In office after arriving at Galesburg Municipal Airport.
Stearman owners who will not have an airplane at this year’s event, and others who qualify, also may register at the Fly-In office and receive free flight line credentials. Information about qualifications will be available at the Fly-In’s airport office.
Information from registration forms is only used to keep the National Stearman Fly-In’s mailing lists up to date.
